If he's gonna drop by, at least he does it with food.
Dressed down because he's paying a visit to the police station - the police garage, of all places - Dick Grayson, two dozen pizzas and a six-pack of Mexican-made cola (sugar, no corn syrup) turns up in Wally West's hometown looking distracted and, despite being dressed casually, a little out of place.

"Hello?"

Will somebody give this man a hand? I mean c'mon! He deserves it!
"Uhn, uhn, no, no, NO!" Max wakes from his fitful drug-induced slumber at the private ward in Metropolis General Hospital. He's sweating, his arm is throbbing, and his left hand... God, how it hurts.

And then he looks down at the stump and starts moaning very very loudly. "Chip.. Chip! CHIP!" When he realises his son isn't in the vicinity, he starts looking around frantically, and begins to pull tubes out of his arm. "Catalina!"

Solace
The rooftop of Titans Tower was always a good place to go to clear your head. To Raven, it always gave her a sort of comfort to just sit on the rooftop, and forget about the cares and troubles of the world for a little while.

On a day like today, where the sun shone brightly in the sky and a gentle breeze blew from off the bay, it was a perfect sort of day for Raven to come up to the rooftop after she finished mediating, lowering her hood as she sat down, letting the rays of sunlight hit her face, closing her eyes as she felt the warmth on her face.

On patrol
It was a slow night in Gotham City, as Spoiler fired another line from her grappling gun and swung through the air onto another rooftop.

She hadn't been out much since she saw Batman...die-that was still hard for her to grasp, even though she watched it happen right in front of her. It was like she lacked the...motivation to go out on patrol.

That, sneaking out to do the usual rounds had been harder seeing as her mother had been keeping a sharper eye on her since Steph had revealed to her that she'd come back from the dead.

Tonight though, she just had to get out of the house. Clear her head. Knock out a couple of muggers and just find an escape from everything that had happened in the past few months.

Landing on the rooftop, Spoiler crouched down and took out a pair of night-vision goggles and scanned the area, keeping her eyes peeled for any unusual activity.

That old wanderlust
It wasn't like Owen hadn't enjoyed being part of the Titans, they were a great bunch, but he just couldn't stay cooped up in some HQ all the time. He needed to get back on the road now and then. Even if he wasn't jetting off for some wild and crazy vacation, just to be on the move felt good.

That's what brought him to Gotham. Granted, the place didn't have the best memories for him, with his dad dieing there 'on the job', but it was a big city. Plus, it had a great library.

You wouldn't think it from knowing him, but Owen loved libraries. The smell of old paper, the peace and quiet (but not TOO quiet), and plenty of open table space and old technical manuals to check out. The perfect place to work on blueprints for new gear. Anyone looking over his shoulder tended to just assume he was some kind of Trek or Wars nerd drawing spaceship designs. So yeah, nice places.

At the moment he was about fifty feet up a ladder, perusing some especially dusty materials, fighting off a sneeze.

((open to anyone who might be there and recognize him, or criminals who want to crash the place))

The Gathering
J'onn was one of the first to react to Hal's summons. When hearing the explanation, the glimmer of hope...something that J'onn, despite everything, has been able to find on a regular basis...resonated in J'onn's mind.

It very well might not be Batman. But it COULD be.

However, Hell was not exactly the best place for a pyrophobe to be. J'onn had already known that he would be the mental link, the tether, that would help to bring the team back if Wotan was as duplicitous as his reputation said it was.

"When Romaine killed Terry Sloane," J'onn told those assembled, "he did it in Jay Garrick's body. It is not out of the realm of possibility that he might try to possess one of you, especially if you somehow get separated in the battle. Try to stay paired up as much as possible, even in the chaos of it all. Even if he has newfound power, he is likely to default to what he is comfortable and familiar with."

Birds of a Feather...
It had been too long since their last one; a lot had happened between then and now to prevent it, but it was time, at last, for the Birds of Prey to assemble once more.

Many times, it was just Babs and Dinah in attendance for what they'd taken to calling their 'BoP parties'. Occasionally, some of the other girls, and/or honorary male members joined in, but all that really was needed were two or more Birds, a bottle of tequila for margaritas, ice cream, and the optional chick flick. So far this evening, the two founding members of the Birds of Prey were sharing the bottle alone, but the night was still young.

So far, it wasn't a very festive atmosphere. Barbara wasn't much of a drinker, but she had a shot glass of tequila in her hand, having skipped the margarita part entirely. She wasn't quite as thin has she had been recently, but her cheeks were still a bit more hollow than they should be. The apparent death of her mentor was taking less of a toll than her stubborn refusal to accept it as fact.

Babs hadn't spoken about it to anyone but Dick, and a few messages exchanged with Arthur. She wasn't sure what Dinah would have to say about it, but she was certain Di would make her talk.

Eventually.
